The Power of Breath

Pranayama (breathing techniques) to lengthen the lifespan, expand the chakras, oxygenate the body, how to engage Bandhas (holding breathing positions) and meditation to be in the present for a fully energised day.

Traditional Yoga

Inspired by the Eight Branches of Yoga (Iyama, Niyama, Asana, Pranayama, Dharana, Dhyana and Samadhi), we will learn Ashtanga (not Ashtanga Flow).

Vinyasa

A sequence of asanas with a focus on body alignment, postures and engagement with breath. An interactive class where we learn from each other in a fun environment with a focus on correct posture positioning.

Sunset Yoga

A combination of Vinyasa to pump up the energy and then flow into Yin to level out the energy using restorative postures, return to the present as the sun sets over the ocean as we focus on our mind, body and soul.

PRIVATE CLASSES AVAILABLE

Tailored to your personal needs (restorative, therapeutic, energised ,focus on any injuries) with a focus on each posture, correction, art of assistance (this involves modern techniques with touch to better the postures. If you are uncomfortable with touching, please advise your teacher).

This session is with therapeutic acupressure savasana massage.

WHEEL YOGA

A yoga wheel is a circular shaped prop that helps open the front side body, assists in advanced yoga postures, and rolls out the spine. The wheel helps yoga practitioners move deeper into postures, specifically heart opening postures like backbends and forearm balances. Using the yoga wheel, we will flow with Vinyasa.
